Vodafone Fijiana XV Squad Named for RWC Preparation Camp

The Fiji Rugby Football Union is proud to announce the Vodafone Fijiana XV squad selected for the upcoming high-performance camp as part of preparations for the Rugby World Cup in England later this year.

Vodafone Fijiana Head Coach Ioan Cunningham has named a strong and experienced group of players, with the majority currently competing in the elite Super W and Aupiki competitions.

This is the first opportunity for the coaching team to bring the wider group together and lay the foundations for Fijiana’s journey to the Rugby World Cup.

“This camp is a critical first step in building the roadmap for our campaign,” said Cunningham.

“We’re excited by the potential, the athleticism, and the skill level in this group. But we’re also very aware of the work ahead if we are to compete with the top nations in the world. This is just the beginning.”

The selected squad features a mix of returning internationals and fresh talent, all of whom bring value to the campaign and the long-term vision of women’s rugby in Fiji.

The Fiji Rugby Union congratulates all selected players and looks forward to an exciting season ahead as the team begins its climb toward the world stage.

The Vodafone Fijiana are currently in camp in Sigatoka. The side will face the Wallaroos on 3rd May. The match will kick off at 5pm at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
