Vodafone Fiji 7s Managers Tour Koro Island
Vodafone Fiji 7s team managers Paula Biu and Rob Kauvesi took a trip to Koro Island which was mainly to see the availability of rugby grounds and accommodation on the island for the Vodafone Fiji 7s Rugby Team.
For pre-season training, the Vodafone Fiji 7s team are looking at taking the team to the people and training on their rugby grounds at various locations around the country.
This is the build up to the upcoming series 2015/2015 HSBC World 7s Series and also the Rio Olympics 2016.
They also took with them the World Rugby HSBC Sevens World Series Trophy and stopped at various locations on their way to visiting the grounds.
Time was not on their side as they landed in Koro on Wednesday at 2:30pm and had to be back on the Ferry, Spirit of Love, at 1:00am Thursday morning.
They managed to view the grounds and stopped as well to enjoy the hospitality of the island at Mudu village, Nabasovi Village and Nacamaki village.
The only school they managed to stop at was Nakodu Mudu Primary School.
