Telecom Fijiana Team to London and Amsterdam 7s Tournaments

The Telecom Fijiana Team to the London and Amsterdam Women’s 7s Series was named this afternoon.

TFL Fijiana Coach Iliesa Tanivula said preparations have been intense and the girls have really worked hard knowing that it’s a back to back tournament and something we haven’t done before.

“Previous tournaments we’ve been just going one off,” Tanivula added.

“But for this last leg we have to really get up for London and back it up the following week in Amsterdam.

“That’s the huge challenge for us,” he said. “The weather which is going to be cold for the girls is the other challenge, but it’s something we’ve spoken about as a team and will just get on with it.

“Realistically we want to stay in the top eight (8) so we can qualify for the next series 2015/2016 WR Women’s 7s season,” Tanivula mentioned.  He said the girls are in good spirits and are looking forward to their games in London.  They depart for London this Sunday.
