Tabadamu players work on their fitness

Tabadamu 7s is looking forward to winning its first Super 7s Series title when the Leg 2 takes place at Prince Charles Park in Nadi next weekend.

The four times Marist 7s champions will put their bodies on the line to secure the title and return to winning ways.

After being part of the first leg and losing in the quarterfinal, Tabadamu coaches and players have found the loop holes and are trying to polish it up during trainings.

Tabadamu winger Baleibau Tuinisoutu said “The second leg will be tougher then the first tournament and there will be no easy team to play against.”

Tuinisatu missed the first leg due to injury and believes he has recovered well and is ready to make a comeback with flying colors.

He added the team mapped out their plan and all the players are working accordingly.

“We are currently working on our endurance, fitness, communication during training and set pieces.

We just trying to work really hard on our fitness and take it to same level as other teams in the series” said Tuinisoutu.

The standard of the Super 7s Series has gone a level up with the inclusion of the Fijian 7s players who have been in camp so far.

“We want to be as fit as the players in the Fijian 7s team and then playing against them will be interesting.

Any team can win on the day, if only they work according to their game plan and have the right mentality” said Tuinisoutu.

Tabadamu is pooled with first leg runner up Taveuni Raiwasa, Wadigi Salvo and Eastern Saints.

The second leg of the Super 7s Series will be held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi next Friday and Saturday.
