Suva will be opting for a third consecutive title win coming in the 2020 Skipper Cup Campaign. After successfully securing the Skipper title two years in a row in 2018 and 2019, they aim to continue with another successful Skipper campaign this year.
Suva had a pretty good run throughout the 2019 campaign securing 6 wins in all rounds and topping the Skipper points table.
Comprising with a mix of young talented and experience players, whom a few of these players caught the attention of former Flying Fijians head coach Jonh Mckee and earning their spot in the 2019 Flying Fijians wider training group.
Eroni Mawi and Mesulame Dolokoto manage to make it to the 2019 Flying Fijian Rugby World Cup squad, and progressing further to securing overseas contracts while another young and explosive Suva player Luke Tagi secured a deal with France Top 14 club Stade Francais.
Absence of these players opens up opportunities for other young guns into the Suva squad this year.
