Seruvakula names a strong side for Kagifa Samoa
Swire Shipping Fijian Latui coach Senirusi Seruvakula has named an exciting team to face Kagifa Samoa in New Zealand this afternoon.
Overseas based wing Patrick Osbourne and lock Sikeli Nabou have made the cut into the final team and will join the side in New Zealand for their third Pacific Showcase Series match against Kagifa Samoa.
Seruvakula said “We are excited to include two of the experienced players in the side. They will surely add more fire power in the squad laced with local talents.”
Seruvakula has named a strong front row which will be guided by Fiji Airways Flying Fijians hooker Mesulame Dolokoto while Captain Mosese Voka and Peni Raidre wil take in-charge of the forwards.
Stylish half-back Frank Lomani together with speedster Joeli Lutumailagi and Apisaloame Waqatabu will guide the backline.
Seruvakula said they will not take the Kagifa Samoa team lightly instead will try and counter them in the weekend.
“After the loss against the Western Force we have worked on a lot of areas. The team has been working hard and we need to maintain our discipline in the game on Saturday.”
“It’s a very crucial match against the Kagifa Samoa. We understand they lost heavily to Western Force last weekend. They will come hanrd plus will try and bounce back and beat us in Auckland” he said.
Swire Shipping Fijian Latui takes on Kagifa Samoa at 5.40pm today.
