Ravisa scoops DHL Impact Player in Las Vegas

The DHL Performance Tracker in Las Vegas highlighted just how competitive top level women’s rugby sevens has become, with sevens different nations represented in the top seven placings.

The player who came out on top though after a thrilling two days of action was Fiji’s Tima Ravisa, who finished a clear six points ahead of Russia’s Mariia Perestiak in second place. Ravisa, made a huge 24 tackles, seven breaks, four offloads and an impressive 25 carries. Ravisa’s contributions helped Fiji to fifth place overall in Las Vegas, having beaten Russia 19-17 in the fifth place play-off. New Zealand’s Kelly Brazier finished third overall in the stats at the inaugural tournament in Vegas, her highlight stat being 32 carries.

Overall in the DHL Performance Tracker, it’s Russia’s Alena Mikhaltsova leading the way with 171 points overall, 11 ahead of Ireland’s Lucy Mulhall. Brazier sits in third place overall with 146 points.
