Nasoko and Viriviri receives Medal of Order of Fiji(MOF)

His Excellency, the President Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konusi Konrote bestowed honors to 30 outstanding Fijians at the Investiture Ceremony held at the State House today.

Among the 30 recipients were Fiji Airways Fijian 7s Captain Kalione Nasoko and former 7s winger Samisoni Viriviri both received the Medal of Order of Fiji (MOF) which was bestowed to them by His Excellency the President Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konrote last Friday.

President Konrote said the Investiture Ceremony is another important milestone in the history of the Order whereby Government and all Fijians, continue to acknowledge, but more importantly, honour and reward those deserving members of Society for their selfless contributions to Nation Building and on one or two occasions, for acts of Bravery during extreme and dangerous situations.

The investiture ceremony, an anticipated event on the Office of the President calendar, recognises the contribution and achievements from Fijians to the nation.
