Nadroga Beaming with Confidence
Cambridge Farms Nadroga will be aiming to secure the Inkk Farebrother Cup for another week as they face an experienced FMF Suva side during the 3rd challenge that will be held at Sigatoka’s Lawaqa Park.
Made-up of a mix of experienced and young players, the Stallions are beaming with confidence after recently defeating Namosi and Naitasiri in what were tough encounters from the two teams that travelled to rugby town.
In preparation for the game against the FMF Suva team, Nadroga’s Manueli Ratuniyarawa shares that they have a few areas of their game that needs fine tuning prior to the next challenge.
“The boys stuck together including the substitutes that brought on the fire to win the game against Naitasiri but we’ve got a few areas that we need to polish before playing against Suva, said Ratuniyarawa.
“We will polish our set piece moves, maintain possession, avoid knock-ons and maintain pressure on the opposition,” added Ratuniyarawa.
Suva earlier defeated Nadroga in their round 1 encounter of the Skipper Cup competition securing a impressive 31-17 win at Bidesi Park and are expected to give Nadroga a tough challenge this weekend.
A bus will be provided for Suva fans wanting to travel down to Lawaqa Park which will also cater for the Vanua Cup Challenge between Lautoka and Rewa at 1pm before the capital side takes on the Stallions at 3pm.
