Nadi started off pretty good with their campaign after stunning Nadroga in their opener with a 40-18 win and beating Northland 26-19 in the second round. Nadi won 3 of its matches against Nadroga, Northland and Rewa in round 1, 2 and 5, went on bye in round 3 and lost another 3 matches against Tailevu, Namosi and Suva in round 4, 6, 7. Upcoming prospect and Fijian Warriors captain Tuidraki Samusamuvodre made an impact for Nadi in last year’s Skipper season. Flying Fijian hooker Veremalua Vugakoto is expected to don the Nadi jersey this season, Vugakoto was an influential player for the Naitasiri Highlanders and the Kadavu lad aims to shine and make his mark this season for Nadi, a player of great capability, someone to keep an eye out for this season. Nadi takes on Yasawa in the first round of Skipper Cup at Prince Charles Park, Nadi
