Mr. John Sanday Announced as FRU Chairman

Fiji Rugby is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. John Sanday as the new Chairman of the Fiji Rugby Union (FRU). Mr. Sanday was recently appointed as a Board Member during the FRU’s Annual General Meeting and officially elected as Chairman at inaugural board meeting.

Mr. Sanday brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise, and his appointment marks the beginning of a new chapter for Fiji Rugby. With a new company structure and constitution in place, under his leadership, we are confident that Rugby House will continue to grow, innovate, and reach new heights.

Fiji Rugby would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Sanday on his appointment. We look forward to his leadership in shaping the future of the sport in Fiji, building on the success of our national teams, and strengthening rugby at all levels across the nation.

The new board of directors will have a term of 4 years.
