Level 2 MO’s Course

The first ever World Rugby 7s Match Officials Level 2 course was held in Suva last week.

The two day workshop saw 10 men including 1 female Match Officials from Tailevu, Suva, Nadroga, Nadi and Tavua participate in the course.

The course was conducted by Rugby Development Manager, Sale Sorovaki alongside,Talemo Waqa, World Rugby Trainer and two Educators, Joeli Tubu and James Bolabiu.

The course was to assist the participants to develop their skills in planning and preparation and to also teach them how to prepare their own Development Plan in setting their goals.

The course also included teaching the participants about Technical Refereeing in the Tackle, Ruck, Maul, Lineout, Foul Play and Scrum area.
