Latui polish up key areas ahead of China Lions game
Fijian Latui are back in camp in Nadi earlier today as they rack up their preparation with just 1 week to kickoff their 2020 Global Rapid Rugby campaign on March 14 as they’ll host the China Lions at the ANZ Stadium, Suva.
Composed with talents and experience, China Lions are made up of players from Bay of Plenty (current Mitre 10 Cup Champions) and players from China Rugby Football Association.
It won’t be an easy opener for the Latui knowing what the Lions can bring to their game and head coach Seruvakula is working closely with his team to make sure they will counter China Lions fast pace attack.
Within the past few weeks the latui has been working closely on their break down and defense knowing that GRR is all about fast pace and explosive game.
With 1 week to go Seruvakula added that the key focus is touching up on these key areas like break down and defense, clarity from how they want to attack and execute their structure.
“Key Discipline is one of the areas we’re stressing out to the players before we go into our first game next week”
Fijian Latui will take on China Lions next week Saturday at 6.15pm in a double header as Fijian Warriors plays the Jnr Japan 3.30pm at the ANZ Stadium.
