FSC U20 7s: Lilian Amazon on Development Path

Lilian Amazon women’s team is the team to watch on Day 2 of the competition at the Fiji Sports Council Under 20 Competition happening right now at the Narauyaba Sports Grounds in Rakiraki.

The Amazon has 2 teams participating on the 4^th leg of the competition that has been set-up specifically for upcoming rugby players to showcase their talent and provide an avenue for them to gain experience at playing top-level 7s rugby against some of the best teams in the country in the age category.

The team participating at this tournament a new player who have been called in to replace players who have been called up for national duties with the FIJI Airways Fijiana 7s team heading into the Dubai 7s that’s scheduled for next weekend.

Team manager Laisa Seru says this is an opportunity for the new girls to put themselves out there and showcase their talent but also have fun playing the game at the sametime.
