FRU Team Doctor receives Level 3 Pitch Side Care accreditation
Dr Emosi Taloga
Dr Emosi Taloga was in Brisbane recently to undergo the World Rugby Pitch Side Care Level 3 Accreditation Course which is a requirement by World Rugby for all its appointed medical personnel.
Dr Taloga’s accreditation now results in a total of three Level 3 Medical personnel at Fiji Rugby. The other two are Dr Vaigalo McCaig and FRU’s Medical Coordinator Mr William Koong.
Dr Taloga is an Orthopedic Surgeon by profession and has represented USP, QVS Old Boys and Suva in his rugby days.
Dr Taloga has been involved with Fiji Rugby for the past seven years working with the Flying Fijians, Fiji Sevens Team and the Fiji Under 20 Team.
FRU Physiotherapist Ms Jennifer Khalik has a Level 2 Accreditation and both Ms Khalik and Mr Koong are also accredited medical educators.
