Flying Fijians Camp wishes everyone A Happy Fiji Day
The Flying Fijians players along with the coaches, and management have wished each and everyone a Happy Fiji Day as the team continues its preparation for the Rugby World Cup quarterfinal in Marseille.
The Flying Fijians have been abroad for the last two and a half months, working vigorously for the desired result in the Mecca of rugby. After staying the night in Marseille, everyone acknowledged the significant day by greeting each other with “Happy Fiji Day” which coincides with the initial day of training for Flying Fijians today.Flying Fijians Head Coach Simon Raiwalui wished all the players, coaches and management, reminding the team of the bullseye they have to hit.
Raiwalui said “On behalf of Flying Fijians, I would like to wish everyone a Happy Fiji Day. “We have been away from home for the past 15 weeks and as I have said our goal has always been to connect to the people and to who we are and today marks a very special day for all Fijians back home and overseas.” Flying Fijians player Levani Botia on behalf of the players passed their well wishes to everyone. “Bula Vinaka to all the fans back at home and around the globe, for us the Flying Fijian, it is 10th of October today and we want to wish everyone a Happy Independence Day. For our families and friends back at home, I know you celebrated it yesterday, but in France, we are celebrating it today, therefore, we want to say all the best and Happy Fiji Day and Loloma” said Botia. Meanwhile, Flying Fijians take on England at 3am FJT on Monday.
