FIJI RUGBY UNION & FIJIAN DRUA ANNOUNCE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED DOUBLE-HEADER

The Fijian Drua and Fiji Rugby Union are excited to announce that next Saturday’s matchday at HFC Bank Stadium is now a highly anticipated double header, with the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua facing the Queensland Reds and the Vodafone Fijiana facing the visiting Wallaroos.

The Fijian Drua and Fiji Rugby have joined forces to undertake joint marketing and fan activation campaigns to make Suva the place to be on the 3rd of May.

Fijian Drua General Manager Commercial, Shane Hussein said “We’re very excited to announce that we now have a double header. So, it’s double the value, so two high quality matches for the price of one.

Ticket prices start from $25 on the Grass Embankment moving up to $40 on the Concrete and from $75 and up are on the main stands.”

Commending on their opportunity to test themselves with one of the top-ranked teams in the world (Australia), Fiji Rugby Women’s High-Performance Manager Alana Thomas said “This Test is another momentous occasion, it is our 42nd Test for the Vodafone Fijiana and 12th Test on home soil. I think it is a good opportunity for our team to start this year’s campaign strongly.”

Fans coming to the Stadium can expect to meet their favourite players from both the Fijian Drua and Vodafone Fijiana teams, as well as engaging with the visiting Queensland Reds and Wallaroos players.

Hussein added: “It will be a fantastic atmosphere on matchday, with heaps of activations, engagement, entertainment and giveaways for fans. It makes for a great afternoon of highly quality rugby for the whole family.

With school holidays starting and kids visiting the Capital from around the country, it’s a great chance to get them out to enjoy themselves while cheering for their Drua and Fijiana. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for Corporates in Suva to host their clients, stakeholders and staff with our Drua Experience – again, enjoying two matches for the price of one.”The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will take on Queensland Reds at 2.05pm before the Vodafone Fijiana 15s go head-to-head with the Wallaroos at 5pm.
