Fiji Rugby on the move with new sponsor, Mobil.

Fiji Rugby today announced a new alliance with globally recognized fuel company Mobil Oil (Fiji). 

The relationship sees Mobil Oil (Fiji) become an official sponsor and the official and exclusive fuel provider for Fiji Rugby plus all associated teams including the Japan bound, Flying Fijians.

It has been a number of years since Fiji Rugby has been supported by a fuel company with CEO Mr John O’Connor today extending his gratitude to Mobil for believing in the game of rugby.

“We are extremely grateful to the team at Mobil for joining our rugby family. To welcome a partner on board who will provide us with sponsorship as well as genuine budget relief in areas of transport and logistics enables us to service our teams and concentrate our resources on delivering the game of rugby to Fiji” he said.

“Sponsorship from globally renowned brands such as Mobil also affirm to us that, even though we are a small island in the Pacific, Fiji and Fiji Rugby is being recognized as a valuable player on the international stage.”

Mobil Oil (Fiji) Lead Country Manager Mr. Adi Jaya Tamara said the fuel supplier was thrilled to be forming a new relationship with Fiji Rugby and looks forward to making a positive difference to the people of Fiji at both a grass-roots community and international level.

Mobil will slot into the domestic and international rugby landscape through game day activations and promotional campaigns commencing with the upcoming Fiji Airways Fijian Drua NRC opening home game against the Western Force at the national stadium in Suva on September 7.
