Fiji Rugby extends relationship with Fiji Water

Fiji Rugby is thrilled to announce the continuous partnership with Fiji Water as they strengthen their relationship by becoming one of the sponsors for Flying Fijians part of the Autumn Nations Cup in Europe.

The relationship will see Fiji Water logo on the Flying Fijians playing shorts when they take on France in their opening ANC fixture next Monday.

Fiji Rugby Chief Executive Officer Mr. John O’Connor thanked Fiji Water for believing in them and extending their sponsorship arms from being the major Drinks supplier to now as one of the sponsors for Flying Fijians.

He said “As an organisation we are working hard to raise the standard of professionalism across all areas of the business. Our on field offering aims to be first class and with the help of Fiji Water we will surely raise to another level.”

Mr. O’Connor added “It’s hard to get sponsors during this tough times when COVID-19 has affected the businesses around the globe but we are so grateful to Fiji Water which believed in us and has held our hands in the difficult period.”

Fiji Water Senior Vice President of Marketing, Clarence Chia said that the time was right to deepen the partnership with the Flying Fijians.  “For six years FIJI Water has been the official water of choice for the national side because we know rugby is a national passion. Now that the Internationals are welcoming rugby teams from outside of Europe, we wanted to show our support in a new way.

“We’re looking forward to seeing the Flying Fijians run on in their new kit for the match against France on Sunday. The FIJI Water team will be cheering along with the rest of the country,” Mr Chia said.
