FIJI RAKAVI FOOTBALL UNION LIMITED VACANCY: GM HPU

The Fiji Rakavi Football Union Limited (FRFU) is based in the Nation’s capital of Suva and is responsible for administering the sport of Rugby Union across 14 provinces. The major responsibility of FRFU is to continuously develop and improve processes by enabling pathways from the “grassroots” level through to elite and professional levels. FRFU endeavors to enhance players’ and officials’ competencies locally and internationally.

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join Fiji Rugby as it continues to develop into a strong contender at the highest level across all formats in the world of Rugby Union.

  1. GENERAL MANAGER – HIGH-PERFORMANCE UNIT

As General Manager High Performance, you will be responsible for the direction and management of all of Fiji Rakavi’s international and domestic elite athlete training environments. The primary objective of this position is to improve Fiji Rakavi’s level of success and status within International Rugby.

This is a senior management role encompassing all operational facets of Fiji’s High-Performance program. This would include overseeing national senior squads (Men’s, Women’s, 7’s, and 15’s), national age grade teams, national academy programs, and the coordination of High-Performance Unit programs in line with the National High-Performance plan.

You will lead the creation of an environment within which coaches and athletes, in both the Men’s and Women’s programs, can develop to their full potential and excel at an international level. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies and plans that will deliver high-performance results on the global stage.
