Fiji Airways Men’s 7s Rugby World Cup Sevens Team Announced

Fiji Airways Men’s 7s Head Coach Gareth Baber has named his final squad of 12 to contest the Rugby World Cup 7s in San Francisco beginning next Friday 20th July.

Following a 10 day intensive camp in Park City, Utah, the Fijian Head Coach has made the tough decision to cull his squad from 16 to 12, naming his final list today after their final training of camp.

The Fiji Airways Men’s 7s team to challenge the Rugby World Cup 7s in San Francisco is:

Baber has selected the squad he believes will be best suited to the conditions and unique format of the Rugby World Cup competition.

With so much class across all areas of the field, the decision on who take was not an easy one.

The Head Coach has praised his squad for their efforts and application to the preparation camp where all players put forward a strong case for selection through their energy, intensity and determination to contribute to the team.

The Fiji AIrways Men’s 7s will travel to San Francisco from Utah on Monday 16th July before commencing their Rugby World Cup 7s campaign on Friday 20th July against the winner of a qualifying match between Japan and Uruguay.
