Fiji 7s Squads for Double Header Weekend
Fiji Rugby Union today released the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s and Fijiana 7s squads for the Oceania and Oita 7s tournaments in Suva and Japan this weekend.
50 players will be given the opportunity to prove themselves and participate in international tournaments gaining experience and providing depth within the Nation’s 7s squads.
With the HSBC World Sevens Series in Dubai under a month away, this weekend of international competition will provide invaluable tournament exposure for the players to step up and the coaches to work on combinations and systems.
From the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s squad Paula Dranisinukula and Amenoni Nasilasila have been ruled out of the selection due to injury.
The teams for Oita have departed for Japan this morning (Monday 5th of November) and the Oceania teams will march into camp in Suva this afternoon.
