Colati ruled out of RWC2015 after a knee injury
(SWANSEA) 27 SEPTEMBER – Flying Fijians prop Isei Colati incurred a knee injury while training and will no longer be available for Fiji’s remaining pool matches in the RWC2015 tournament.
This was confirmed by the Flying Fijians Head Coach John McKee who said that Colati sustained an injury to his left knee in a training session yesterday (Saturday 26 September) at the Swansea University Sports Ground in Wales.
Colati was named on the bench in Fiji’s first two RWC2015 pool matches (verses England and Australia) and will return to his French Club USON Rugby Plus to be reviewed by their medical team for definitive physiotherapy and his rehabilitation.
Flying Fijians reserve Taniela Koroi will join the Flying Fijians in Swansea tomorrow given Colati’s departure. Koroi joins the Flying Fijians from his Italian club, Mogliano. (End/s)
