Coaches name team for Hamilton 7s
Gareth Baber and Saiasi Fuli have named their final squadrons to step onto the battle field in Hamilton this weekend.
Baber has opted for a balance between forwards and backs to tackle the strong opponents in the do or die pool games with winger Alasio Naduva named the 13th player.
“Utility players Waisea Nacuqu, Livai Ikanikoda and Napolioni Ratu can play in several positions in the back-line, offering us flexibility in our approach to each opponent” said Baber.
The Fiji Airways Fijian 7s kicks off his campaign against Samoa at 12.47pm on Saturday and then faces Australia at 6.35pm.
They meet Argentina in their final pool match at 11.57am on Sunday.

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s coach Saiasi Fuli’s final 12-member squad for the Hamilton 7s sees Ana Maria Roqica named the 13th player for the tournament this weekend.
Roqica missed the the Dubai and Cape Town legs due to injury and will be ready to step in, if needed in Hamilton.
Fuli said “The competition is very tough and the girls have put up a great effort prior to the selection”.
The women are taking their performance to new heights in 2020 with the stage set for more progress in Hamilton where they are grouped with New Zealand, England and China.
