Telecom Fiji Warriors Named for Americas Pacific Challenge
Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive, John O’Connor has today released the names of Telecom Fiji Warriors team for the Americas Pacific Challenge.
The tournament will be hosted by the Uruguay Rugby Union in Montevideo, Uruguay from 8 to 16 October, 2016. Other Unions that will participate in the tournament are USA, Canada, Argentina and hosts Uruguay.
The APC 2016 will be a Round Robin, first past the post tournament format played across three competition rounds.
The Telecom Fiji Warriors are in Pool B, with Canada A and Uruguay A, while the Argentina Jaguars, USA A and Samoa A are in Pool A.
Mr O’Connor congratulated the team on their selection and wished the team all the best for the tournament.
The team will depart our shores on 3 October, 2016.
The selected players are:
Joeli Veitayaki, Sireli Ledua, Robert Delai, Mesake Doge, Kalivati Tawake, Mosese Digo, Iliesa Leca, Esikia Macu, Mesulame Kunavula, Peni Naulago, Rupeni Nasiga, Nemani Nagusa, Vasikali Mudu, Sefanaia Nadruka, Eremasi Radrodro, Henry Seniloli, Sakiusa Gavidi, Ilimeleki Leiloma, Alivereti Veitokani, Eroni Vasiteri, Fredrick Hickes, Iferemi Tovilevu, Sitiveni Kunaga, Lepani Raiyala, Apete Daveta, Seremaia Naureure.
All the players are requested to contact the Fiji Rugby Union urgently in regards to their documentations for visa processing. The Team will be coached by Senirusi Seruvakula assisted by Jonetani Waqa.
