Rauluni names squad for Samoa match

Vodafone Fijiana XV Head Coach Mosese Rauluni has named his 23-member squad to face Samoa in their second WXV3 match in Dubai.

Following a victory against Hong Kong China last weekend, Coach Rauluni has made a few changes to the starting line-up.

In the forward pack, experienced front-rower Bitilia Tawake retains her spot at loosehead prop, with Vika Matarugu at tighthead prop. Loraini Senivutu has been named at hooker.

In the second row, Mereoni Nakesa partners with Asinate Serevi, while Nunia Daunimoala starts at blindside flanker, Sulita Waisega at openside, and skipper Karalaini Naisewa continues in the number 8 jersey.

Evivi Senikarivi once again starts at half-back, with Jennifer Ravutia at fly-half.

Kolora Lomani takes the left wing, and Repeka Tove returns on the right wing. Talei Wilson and Adita Milinia form the centre pairing, with vice-captain Luisa Tisolo rounding out the starting 15 at fullback.

The bench features Keleni Marawa providing cover at hooker, alongside Emosi Salanieta Nabuli and Tiana Robanakadavu as replacements at loosehead and tighthead prop, respectively. Aviame Veidreyaki and Alfreda Fisher add further depth, with Ema Adivitaloga covering halfback, Sala Kinita as fly-half backup, and Merewairita Neivosa completing the matchday 23.
