Flying Fijians ready for RWC opener against Wales

Flying Fijians are ready for a much anticipated Rugby World Cup opener against Wales on Monday.

The week’s preparation ended with a jersey presentation where the non-23 players presented the jerseys to the players.

The Flying Fijians had no chief guest present at the function but were given a special message from their loved ones.

Team Manager Willie Baleinabuli said “These are people who cry when players cry or laugh when they laugh therefore it’s very important to give them an opportunity to wish the players all the best ahead of a very important match.

Also present at the jersey presentation was the Legend of Sevens, Waisele Serevi who wished the team all the best.

“I want to take this opportunity to wish the team very best against Wales. I felt so good to be around the team today and the atmosphere is different. I’m certainly looking forward to the game against Wales” said Serevi.

Flying Fijians play Wales at 7.05am FJT on Monday.
